Remarks :

The admission procedure is based on rank based on the jee main examination and 12th marks. All the processes are done online only, after some format you have downloaded like if you obc then obc certificate format, or declaration certificate which is available on the website of nit Durgapur. Reservation is based on parents' income and some categories also, if your parent's income is less than 1 lakh then you have to pay 13000-15000 per semester excluding the mess fee which is the same for all. The admission process is very smooth here is no need to worry about that

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have an option of choosing either metallurgy or civil but I chose the metallurgy branch BCz pkg is more in comparison with civil and this branch is easy to moderate in comparison with civil. Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative, they take quick action if you need help and the student ratio is about 10:1. Faculty members are very much qualified and knowledgeable but have to study by themselves for the sem The sem exam is like the sem starts after 1 and half months Ca1 exam will be held for 15 marks and after 1,2 week mid-term will be started with 25 marks after 1-month end term will hold for 60 marks .ca and mid is quite easy and end sem is moderate

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldmann, and many moreckathon and many more.

Placement Experience :

After 4 sem companies start coming for the internship process and many companies give PSU.For placement companies are coming after the 6th sem and those whose cgpa is more than 7 are eligible to sit in campus placement, organized by CDC of nit Durgapur any companies visited here like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldmann, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Accenture, and psu companies like iocl,bpcl. and many more. The highest package is around 55 lps and the package is around 20 lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is moderate and quality cheap based on category and financial problems. Nsp scholarship u can apply on the website and then attach a bonafide of college. Campus placement is very good mainly for females.

Campus Life :

Recstacy is an annual fest organized in college every year, and famous celebs also come to this fest. The library is also well maintained and there are 2 halls for studies. Lots of books are there in lihlSports facilities are very good here You can play badminton, basketball, volleyball and many more. Inter nit and inter hall are held every year. Lots of clubs are there at Nit Durgapur College. Like dance club, glug for coding, EDC, spic macay for dancing singing, and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good and we'll maintain it. There are three occupancies per room for btech students single occupancy for mtech and Ph.D. students. The meal is quite good here and the menu is also good. The registration process is held every sec u have to pay online before the sem starts, You have to stay in a hostel whether you are local or not.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
