Remarks :
Eligibility of the course was at least 50 % marks on the 12th but now the admission is based on the CUET exam and the cutoff is about 600. The application can be found on the official website of the University of Delhi. I belong to the OBC category and in the admission process, some benefits of cutoff are provided. yes admission process through CUET is very lengthy and difficult process now and at my time in 2021, it was easy on a marks basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From class 12 I liked to study economics that's why I chose it. The faculty and student ratio in my college is very good that is of about 1:40. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and are well qualified with teaching experience of about 20 to 30 years. Term exam is based on a semester basis means every 6 month and it's very difficult to pass but due to well-qualified teacher and their guidance and way of teaching, we pass the exams easily.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of my course now are 7500 per year now but when I took the admission it was only 5000 but due to the fee hike it has risen to 7500 now. There is no specified scholarship for the general category students but lower category students benefit. But the placement cell of our college is very active and many of the students got very good internships with good stipends also some of the students got better placements in many places.
Campus Life :
Every year the annual fest is organized by the college fund the name of the fest is "Exuberence" and it is conducted in the month of February every year. The library is very good and all the books and journals are available in the library and it is also air-conditioned and peaceful environment. Classrooms are not very good because it is old and not maintained for many years. Sports like cricket, badminton, and football are also organized periodically. There are many societies also available in the college namely ' Prarambh', 'Women Development', 'Ecoshashtra' and many more.
