Remarks :

Students should clear the JEE Mains examination in order to enter any NIT. As NIT Trichy stands 9th in the NIRF ranking, the cut-off will be pretty high if you are from other states. You can apply for JEE Mains on the JEE website and the application fee will be minimal and based on your category. Tamil students will have a huge benefit as they will be considered in the home state category. I think the percentage of home stagegory should be decreased in order to increase the quality of students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am from Electronics & Communication Engineering and I choose this course because I am interested in electronics. The faculty and student ratio will be 1: 8 and the professors are well qualified in their respective fields. The majority of faculty had completed their PG in their domains. But as usual, there will be professors who aren't so good at teaching. But the rest will be fine. Students will be having pretty much stuff to do as they get assignments and records regularly. exams will be conducted once a month and it is a little difficult for an average student to get a good grade in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies like Google, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, and NVD, offer internships to students based on their qualifications and skills that he/she have. The placement cell, an autonomous body on the campus will take care of the placements and prepare the students for the placements.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements will be availed in the 7th semester but the students can take company internships in the 5th semester and professor internships from the 3rd semester. Many MNCs like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Goldman Sachs, will visit the campus during placements and select the students they need. The packages of students may range from 5 LPA to 1.2 CPA that depending on the CGPA of the student and the skills that student has. If you are a NITTian, then the maximum you will be placed but you should ensure that you finish all your backlogs. The placement percentage will be greater than 90 as some students will plan for higher studies after pursuing their Bachelor's degree. I also want to go for higher studies after having a degree probably in foriegn countries or any IITs in India. But i will do this while i am having my job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of a student will be based on the category that the student falls into. The fee reimbursement will be applied to students if the required certificates are submitted. The institute also accepts student loan policy. There will be many institute scholarships or government scholarships which will be informed to students through their student email ID. The requirements for placements and financial assistance will be fulfilled by student-run clubs inside the campus.

Campus Life :

Fest is one of the best things that happens in the college. And technical fest, Pragyan is also ISO certified. Pragyan will be happening in the month of May. Cultural fest, Festember is also one of the biggest in South India. Coming to infrastructure, the less you expect, the happier you will be. The infrastructure is not too bad but it may disappoint you. The will be many clubs inside the campus and only the students take care of them. So, many of them were successful in doing many outreach events. The social council and Student council take care of everything on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
