Remarks :
The admission process includes two examinations. First is JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. After Clearing both exams, we have to go through the josaa counselling process which is around one month and then we get colleges through counselling. Then we are invited to the college for offline physical reporting and document verification. That's all and talking about cutoff 1)Jee mains-90.7 percentile 2)Jee Advanced-94 marks for general.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for the Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is heavily inspired by top universities. The curriculum focuses on the practical implementation of the theoretical knowledge as well as on the research. It provides a multidimensional development of the student's brain. Also, the faculty members are highly qualified and amongst the world's top scientists. They are good at delivering their immense knowledge in simple language.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in my first year now, I do have not much experience with internships but about the number of companies, there is about 150 companies came here for placements, and about 400 students placed. There are companies regarding every branch (core,non-core, IT).
Placement Experience :
Talking about placements, The average package of the college last year was 29.5 lakhs, which is eventually better than some top iits also. From 3rd year students are eligible for placement offers. The highest International package from our college is around 1.2 crores. There are about 95% of students placed as in my branch last year from 35 students 32 were placed and the remaining 3 opted for higher studies or going for businesses. So, the percentage of students placed is very high.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is almost the same as compared to other IITs. According to the number of facilities provided here, fees charged per semester are quite fine, and about scholarships, there are many scholarships based on merit, caste, and income of the family. In the case of merit, there is a merit-cum based scholarship in which if a student has 8.5+ cgpa in the previous semester then he is eligible for the scholarship.
Campus Life :
Social life here is amazing as it provides overall development in the personality of students. As you can really do what you want in terms of your growth. There are many events planned by students themselves that give them an idea about the management of different things. Then there are literally all the clubs (such as Tedx, njack, gdsc, moodboard, etc.) You can think of, for the students to evolve themselves in anything they want to.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are quite good as there are around 240 rooms in CV Raman hostel (for freshers). In every single room, there are three beds, and study table and two fans, and an almirah for students. The food quality is fine as compared to other mess it is far better.
