WHY SHOULD YOU PREFER MNNIT

Remarks :

MNNIT Allahabad is one of the best NITs in India. To get admission to this college we have to score very good marks in JEE mains. I am pursuing my B.tech from ECE for which I have to score 176 marks out of 300 with 98.5 percentile in JEE mains. The cutoff for the general category is about 8200 and for OBCs 15000 CRL in 2022. The admission process is very simple and seamless. When the seat is alloted by JOSSA or CSAB then the college provides a particular date for physical registration for each branch. One has to come on that date and resister into the college. Some documents are demanded by the college for which all details are provided on the college website. Just you have to come and register simply. There should be one improvement in the admission process, there is little rush during physical registration which should be avoided by MMNIT because it is one of the finest in its field. Another can be that college should provide Parents with someplace where they can chill during physical registration.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose ECE in MNNIT because I am interested in semiconductor devices and want to explore this field in the future and MNNIT provides a platform to achieve your dream in this field. MNNIT provides a very balanced ratio of faculty per student. In theory class, there are 80 students and in labs, there are 50 students. This gives a good ratio of faculty and students. The professors of MNNIT are geniuses they have done a lot of research in many fields. But we all know how they taught us they think we have a very good prerequisite knowledge and they teach us according to that way which causes some difficulty. Exams of MNNIT to score 8 CPI in the new education policy is a tough task. There are midsem and endsem and practical exams in which we have to perform the experiments. Teachers make paper such that you can pass exams if some give a little effort to study but to score good marks is challenging.

Internships Opportunities :

There are very good internship opportunities in MNNIT Allahabad. You must have very good skills in coding for an intership you must have some language like C, C++, JAVA, etc and better if done some projects also web development is very important in an Internship. students of MNNIT Allahabad get almost all types is internships in core companies and also in IT companies. Most IT companies give a good internship. To get an intern in the core is a little bit harder than in IT companies. If any gets an intership from MNNIT then there is a very high chance of having PPO if an individual takes the internship seriously. Last year the highest offer of placement was 1.31 Cr from CSE and ECE & EE, and there is the highest offer of 82 LPA which are very very impressive stat for a college and that's why if someone is unable to get IIT can go for MNNIT blindly because here there are almost all those students who deserve an IIT but due to one bad day in JEE Advanced they cannot get into IITs. MNNIT is one of the best NITs.

Placement Experience :

The placement of MNNIT is the best among all engineering colleges in India. It ranked 7th among all engineering colleges in India including IITs. Only 5 IITs are ahead of MNNIT in terms of placements. MNNIT has an average package of 20 LPA for CSE and 27 lpa for ECE 23 LPA which is quite good for us. It makes us secure about our future and just focus on study and skills to improve ourselves. Mass recruiter are not allowed in MNNIT which also give us a very satisfactory for college. There is a 95 % placement ratio of MNNIT students which makes us proud to be MNNITians. My plans for the future are to take a good placement from college and be financially stable. professors are also very supportive in placement, they provide us with proper guidance for placement and want us to make them proud. You must have to learn skills to get a good placement and also there is some CPI barrier in placement from which companies shortlists students. Almost all companies come to our college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of MNNIT are high for a government college. we have to pay 93000 per sem and in the first sem 98000 plus mess fee of 25000 which is very expensive in comparison to the quality, they serve us. There is a fee according to family financial income. For below 1 lakh your tuition fee of 62000 will be discounted and for between 1 to 5 lakh 2/3rd of the tution fee is reduced but both have to pay hostel and mess fee full like above 5 lakh. There are many scholarships for NIT students but mainly for those whose income is less than 5 lakh and 1 lakh. for above 5 lakh it is much more expensive to afford, let's assume one has a family income of 6 lakh and he has to pay 2.5 lakh to college for his child.

Campus Life :

The campus of MNNIT is very beautiful. The new hostel on 13 floors is nice and from the top, there is a very beautiful view of Prayagraj. The library is good. you can find all kinds of books in the library and if you want to study in AC the library is for you. but there is one problem you will find yourself single as many couples are found in the library. The SAC department of MNNIT is not so good. Clubs are domestic no club is certified by the government but still they will give you great exposure to your talent and skill. There is almost all kind of clubs for everyone. There are two annual festivals. Cultural fest called CULRUV and technical fest called AVISKAR for both cultural and technical activities. The cultural fest has the biggest budget but is still just an average fest for an institute of national importance.

Hostel Facilities :

In the first year, there is a fabulous hostel in which 3 room partners are available. Rooms are also good. for the first-year students, there is a lot of restriction like they can't go out after 10 pm. 1st month of college is really hard for them, to avoid ragging they kept away from seniors although there is 0 ragging in MNNIT. for the rest students, there is a senior hostel area where all live. Girls hostel is very far from boys hostel. facilities are just average in hostels. rooms of 2nd year are like there is space of 1 student but still 2 students live in one room. form 3rd year single rooms are alloted and in final year 13-floor new hostel is alloted which is a very nice thing.

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
