Remarks :

The admission process was easy. The application form is available on the college website and students with 60% in twelth can also get admission in computer science or IT branch in the college. No need of improvement is required in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is average. some of the faculty and their teaching method is good. There were 3 exams that happened in a semester and were not very difficult to pass. Apart from that two lab exams happen in a semester.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college gives a NOC letter to the students which they can give to the company while looking for an internship. Companies like Tech Mahindra, deltax, lumiq bastion, Gemini Solutions, grey, Copperpod IP etc. provide internships to students and upon completion of the internship offer a full-time role

Placement Experience :

Placements at the campus are good. The average package in 2022 was 7 lakhs. Both Tech and non-tech companies come to the campus. Even if you are not very good at studies there are chances that you get placed at a company on campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The hostel fee is around 80000 per semester for a single room and the tution fee is around 100000 per semester. Campus placements are good. Several companies visit the campus and even an average student also can secure a placement.

Campus Life :

The life on campus is good. Campus is surrounded by mountains. There are several technical and non-technical events that take place at the campus every semester. The library is very good and has a wide variety of books including academic and non-academic.

Placement Experience:

Placement stats are good till now. , this is a new IIIT so it is doing good, The average of cse is 13 lpa, the average of ECE is 12 lpa, and the average of IT is 16 lpa which is very well and the median of all is around 8 9 lpa.

All About IIIT UNA, Himachal Pradesh

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in computer programming so I chose this course in this college instead of other NITs. Here the faculty-student ratio id pretty good It's approximately 15:1. All the Faculty are PHD holders.They are young and have a passion for teaching.There are 2 CT exams which constitute the mid sem and one end sem also occurs. You have to study daily. There is regular assignment and projects given to students

Reality VS Myth

Placement Experience:

After 3 years onwards students are eligible for placements. The highest package is 60lpa Average: 16lpa There is about 100% placement in our college. Many National and multinational companies visited our college like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Jio, Apple etc.

Placement Experience:

Students are available for placement after 7th - semester. Various big companies visited the college, including Microsoft, Amazon, dalloit and Americans express. The highest package in 60 lacks and the average package in 15 lacks in the 22-23 sessions. Almost 90+% students of placement offers. My plan after my degree is to opt for IT jobs.

JUIT- the best college in the hills

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible for placements in 3rd year itself. The companies visited are Amazon, fantaclaus, etc. The highest package last year was 50 lakhs (off campus) by Amazon and the mean package was 6.5 lpa. 289 students have been placed in the last 5 years which makes 86%. My plan after getting the degree is to obviously get placed in a good company with a good package.
