Remarks :
The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a competitive exam in India for admission to various engineering programs in prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and other engineering colleges. Course Curriculum Overview :
Being a Mechanical engineering student at NIT Durgapur, I can talk about how the actual scenario of the curriculum, the course of mechanical engineering is quite good but of course, we are blessed with too many labs which becomes very hectic at times, also there is a mix of good and average professors, some are very approachable while others are born to give supply.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee is 152000. The fee hike is higher but there are policies for economically weaker sections and also college provides loans through the SBI branch on campus for the benefit of students, also there are several other policies run by the college.
Campus Life :
There are two fests conducted all year round, Aarohan which is eastern India's 2nd largest techno-management fest, and Rectasy which is our annual cultural fest, also Student body Gymkhana conducts a lot of events all year round. Classrooms are air-conditioned and well-maintained, and there are many clubs run by the students both cultural and technical which are responsible for the development of students.
