Remarks :
To get into this college you have to sit for the jee mains examination, with at least 75% marks in your 12th boards. If your rank is good in jee mains then you will be alloted IIIT Kalyani in your josaa or csab round. once you get into this college you can download the application form, fees, and dates from the IIIT Kalyani website. Note the admission process is smooth with no such difficulties and keep a note that all required details and documents must be present as mentioned by the authority.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose btech in CSE as this was my passion and the field I wanted to work in. The faculty here though is a little less but they are highly qualified in the fields they teach with good knowledge. the teaching method used by them is also good understandable and easy to comprehend. in a semester there is two main exams that is your MID sem and your END sem the exams are conducted in an interval of about one and a half month from the start of the semester. The question set is pretty difficult, you need to study for it and basically work hard but it is manageable and the system of relative grading makes it a bit easier to cope with.
Internships Opportunities :
companies like firebolt, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman sachs jio, and many new start-up companies offer internships to students as per their skills. we are given the specific skill set we have a knowledge of and show them our work and projects in that field.
Placement Experience :
students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester, and internships are offered from the start of the 4th semester. many companies visit her including the likes of amazon, delloit, Goldman sach, jio, and many others with various offers. the highest placement record in our college is around 26 lakh per annum and the average salary is around 13 lakh per annum, with almost 90% to 100% placement stat seen respectively. I plan on having a job after my degree in the software company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fees here are a bit higher and the hostel fee increases every semester as per the college guide is about max that is 10% of the previous fees depending on the college's needs. the scholarship is provided to the top-grade student with 100% attendance and very good scores in their exams. As a part of a college of national importance getting a loan for the fees is very easy. then there are scholarships for reserved classes by the government. campus placement here is quite good where almost 90 to 100 percent placement records can be seen every year with an average package of around 12 lakhs.
Campus Life :
Well, our campus is currently being made hence there are no fest organised due to lack of space but there are events like get together, fresher's parties, and festival celebrations organised by the students club with the faculty help. we have our own library in the college though it is not that big but it has good supplement if knowledge in its store. Washroom in colleges are clean with proper amenities and required stuffs, about the hostel its pretty clean and healthy the washrooms are cleaned on the daily basis. college also organizes sports meet among the students of different games conductin tournaments for the games such as cricket, football , badmintion, table tenis, chess etc,and there is also swimming facilty here. we also have numerous numbers of clubs running in the college for having a good coding culture with tech clubs, robotics club,music,drama, and many other exciting clubs.
