Eligibility Criteria of Admission Process for B.Sc. Chemistry in Seth Anandram Jaipuria College has 75% marks in the 12th class board result, The Subject combination should be Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. application form can be found on the online college website, if we get selected we have to pay the fees online and go to the college for physical verification in 2 days of time span. if we pay the fees our seats will be reserved. Improvements should be made to the details of dates regarding physical verification and class starting dates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course for my interest in Chemistry and Seth Anandram Jaipuria College has a good chemistry faculty. on an avg students get admission around 30 to 40 and 7 highly qualified teachers are present in the department who are very good at teaching. Everyone is highly qualified and NET JRF cleared, and teaching experience is much higher than 10-15 years. Exams are all conducted on time, for a few cases exam time can be altered but for most of cases exams are conducted under perfect time management, Exams are quite tough and scoring is quite hard as Calcutta University is known to be one of the toughest Universities for B.Sc. and M.Sc in the country. You have to read very hard to get good marks here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure under Calcutta University colleges is very affordable and cheap. The fee structure is 3500/- per semester for B.Sc. Chemistry honours in Seth Anandram Jaipuria College. If you want to buy some books that is a different thing but for official costs, college is very much affordable. You can apply for Vivekananda Scholarships if you get above 80% in the 12th board result. Job opportunity is not there after a B.Sc. from Calcutta University on Campuses.
Campus Life :
Campus life is quite good here, everyone is very much friendly. we have a ground just beside our college where we can go and play. every year there are new freshers and we organize a new freshers fest. Seniors organize fest for juniors and also juniors organize fest for seniors. Very friendly environment. we have a good full AC library where we can find different kinds of books for our different purposes. College organize inter-college sports where you can participate and many more extra curricular activities on the campus. There are no such typical social groups or clubs present here.
