Remarks :

You have to give Jee mains to get admission to NIT Durgapur and have to maintain at least 75% in your board exams to appear in Jee mains. You will find the application on the Jee website. I didn't opt for a reservation but I know a boy who opted for a reservation and got all his tution off.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In India, students who are preparing for jee mains usually don't choose their course instead their course chooses them. There is 1 teacher for 75 students in my course. I don't need to explain the quality of professors in NITs they are highly educated from different prestigious universities. It is as usual in all the college's mid-semester and end-semester.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I'm currently in my second year so I have done any internship yet but I have Heard from the seniors that if you work hard on your skills you will easily get an internship as our college has lots of opportunities.

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester students become eligible for college placements. Tata Steel, Vedanta, Microsoft, Reliance, Wipro, Infosys, Google, TCS, BPL, HPCL, and many more companies visit our college, highest package war 1cr in CS, and 20 lakhs in our branch. 85% of students get placed in our branch and 80% for an average of all branches. I have no plans right now for what to do after the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

78000 for tution, 16000 hostels, and 19000 mess this is per semester fees in NIT DGP, it differs according to different NITs. Only state quota students get scholarships here I know that it is kind of wrong you have to deal with it. The SVMC scholarships are provided.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is good, don't get overexcited because after a week everything will be normal. We have arrohan as our annual fest. The library is exceptionally very good it has more than enough books. All the classrooms are fully air conditioning, please note that I am talking about nab in nit DGP. Sports facilities are average.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are top notch specially in hall 14 of nit DGP. We get separate Wi-Fi routers in each room. Washrooms are cleaned twice a day overall it's a good package. Mess is your preference I am from UP and I don't like the Bengali food system so yeah if you are Bengali you might like mess food here.

Hostel Fee : INR 16000 per year

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
