Remarks :
I have choosen electrical engineering as I had a passion from my intermediate. I have taken eamcet examination as per the cut-off of 2020. The application process is simple. The college sent emails about the application forms and about the application fees and the dates of physical reporting. Many of the government employees get some benefits regarding the fee reduction. No improvement is needed I think but some care should be taken while the students attend the physical reporting.
Course Curriculum Overview :
For every 20 students, I think there is a teacher to advise. I took this course because I like electrical subjects in the intermediate. The faculty members are well educated, and many of them have completed MTech. The teaching method should be improved somewhat. They should show some extra effort while teaching. For every 6 months, a semester is conducted and a mid-term examination is conducted which is of 30 marks, and internal labs are also conducted which adds to the cgpa.
Internships Opportunities :
Embedded systems, aictc, and electrical vehicles are some of the companies that give internships. The stipend varies with the branch you study and projects also vary with that only. Not only a stipend but every student gets an internship certificate first of all.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semester, the students get placement offers. Many companies like Amazon, Wipro Flipkart came and visited. More than 70 percent of students placements and the highest package is 45 lakhs offered by Amazon. And the average package is 4 lakhs and the lowest package is 3 lakhs. More than 480 students got placed this year. More than 560 people have graduated.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is nearly 40k for each semester for electrical engineering. It varies on the branch we belong to. The cost of study is like ok ok when compared to other colleges. Many scholarships of both government and private are provided. If their parents are government employees of RTC I think there will be some benefits.
Campus Life :
No annual fests and tech fests are conducted every year. Only farewell parties and some festivals are celebrated on campus. There is a library with a good number of books. The classrooms are quite good. Sports periods are often given and extracurricular activities are done for some time. There are not many clubs but nss and rotary clubs are there in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are like okay and there a 4 to 5 members in a room and each of them has a given study table and 3 fans are there. Shelves and cupboards are also there. The registration process for the hostel went well. It is easy only. The hostel is present inside the institute only beside the college block only.
