The criterion for choosing any of the courses is totally dependent on jee main score. The institute provides all the information on its official web page when new admissions take place. All the details about documents and their soft copy are attached on the admission corner on its official website. Reservation benefits are given as per the constitutional rules and regulations. All things are followed carefully and effectively by the institute and document verification is compulsory for availing of the reservation benefits at the time of admission. The admission process is straightforward.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science and engineering is one of the most sought-after branches in India because of its high industry demand. It provides a better future scope. The student-faculty ratio is pretty good. the ratio is decreased. It should be near to 1:25 approx. They are quite supportive. Exams and study schedules are a little hectic here. In one and a half months they take a quiz and a mid-term/end-term exam.
Internships Opportunities :
There are different companies looking for different roles. Generally, companies look for software engineers, software developers, web developers, designers, and many others. Adobe and Amazon are a few of the top giants.
Placement Experience :
From the third year, students are eligible for various internships. In the final year, they become eligible for full-time job opportunities. Big companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, cred, Samsung, and many more visit for placement opportunities. In 2023, the highest package offered is 82 lakhs per annum with the average being 21.60 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree, join a reputed firm and get a decent to great placement. I don't think too much about the future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike policy is as per MHRD. Sc/st students avail of the tuition fee waiver. There are many scholarships available. State-level scholarships like MMVY and UP scholarships are served. Merit-based scholarships are also available. There are a few more. Students are informed via mail when there are scholarship opportunities available.
Campus Life :
'Tarang' is one of the biggest cultural fest of IIITDMJ, truly one of a kind, 'Abhikalpan' is an amazing tech-fest where many institutes and colleges participate. 'Gusto' is a sports fest where various inter-college sports are competitive fest. The sports culture is pretty awesome in item. Various clubs are there for sports and extracurricular activities which are handled by 2nd year onward students. All the clubs are active and adds colour to campus life.
Hostel Facilities :
A bed, a table, a decent almirah, and all the electric facilities like a fan, and a switchboard are provided in the room. Lan ports are also provided with decent to very good internet speed. Sometimes internet connection goes off, don't know why. Meal quality in mess is average. Edibles are edible. I don't think there is proper hygiene but yes they take care of hygiene when serving the meal. The menu is subject to change from time to time. If students don't like a dish it is going to be changed in a few months. All the items and details are shared while changing the menu. There are different meals for each day. Because it is located in Central India, So, they serve northern and southern foods. The registration process is easy.
