Remarks :
I am doing MCA here so for this course, the eligibility criteria are, you have done your graduation in BCA, B.sc computer science or B.sc with mathematics or at least you have mathematics in your intermediate, you have to secure at least 50% in your graduation. you can simply connect with the GLA office nearby you or you can directly contact the USD for the application form and get the application fees and fee details, the examination process is quite simple and I don't think I should add anything to this process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course gives us the opportunity to enhance our technical skills. The faculties are quite knowledgeable and I have a good educational background the relation between discipline and faculty is good in the classroom. If you have any doubt related to any topic, you can directly contact with faculty. You have to take exams every two months. The process of examination is the first two months, we have to give midterm examination and last two months of the semester the end-term exams will be held.
Internships Opportunities :
there are many companies that give internship opportunities to the university and the roles that are offered by the companies are like software trainee, developer trainee, etc colleges also give internships to students within the campus, and projects like college application modifications, new portal development, or managing college portals.
Placement Experience :
in my course after 3rd semester even at the end of 2nd sem student is eligible for placement, at companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, etc. In MCA highest package was around 7.5 lpa, average would be around 4.5 lpa. almost 65 to 70 % of students get placed. I am looking forward to being placed right now.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
every year the fees hike by around 5000, in my first year my fees were 133000 and in the second year fees were around 138000. SAARC student scholarship is the name of the scholarship provided by the college, gla supports startups also so if you have any good startup idea then you will get the funds for that startup also.
Campus Life :
so many events are organized by gla every year last year they organized Spandhan the annual fest of gla and so many intrauniversity events if we talk about the library they provide all kinds of books in their libraries and all the academic blocks have their individual libraries for student's comfort and provide free books for all the courses.
