Remarks :
Here admission is done through mp dte councelling. To fulfil the criteria one should have to take the joint entrance exam. On the basis of their jee rank and 12th marks admission is provided. Students can apply by filling out the application form on the official website of the college. All the necessary details should be correctly filled by the candidate. They can then scan and upload the document there. Documents required for the procedure are migration certificate, transfer certificate, 12th and 10th marksheet along with jee scorecard and passport size photographs. Final admission will be provided after verification of documents and payment of college fees. The main course for which the college is famous is B.tech which is four years. Here branches like electrical, mechanical, electronics and computer science along with specialization are provided to students. Other courses like MBA, BCA, BBA, MCA, and B-pharma are also offered by the college. Each and every course has a different fee structure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I decided to choose engineering as my future career because I want to be a software developer and also it has better scope opportunities. Lakshmi Narain College of Technology has a wide variety of faculty members. For each and every course along with each branch, different faculty is provided. Here around 1000 to 1100 faculty members out of which many are doctorates and many others hold a PhD. Every faculty has their own way of teaching some are strict and some are strict in themselves . Here rules and regulations are mandatory not only for the students but also for the faculty members. As we know the Lnct group of colleges is rgpv affiliated. So here the syllabus is decided by rgpv as well and the exams are conducted by rgpv. Here the exams are done in a very strict manner. At least three invigilators are present in one room. So there is no scope for cheating. It is very difficult for students to clear the exam as it is set in a very tough format. So one needs proper study to clear the exams.
Placement Experience :
Lakshmi Narain College of Technology is one of the most reputed institutes of Madhya Pradesh in terms of placement. Placements at our college are very good. From the end of the 6th semester, students become eligible for the placements. From the 3rd year, training and placement classes are provided to students which help them alot. Faculty memebers help students to develop their skills and succeed at their work but sometimes the syllabus is too hectic for the students. Companies that visited the college are Wipro, Amazon, TCS, Cisco, Cognizant etc. Almost more than half of the students got placement. The average salary package offered by the college is 7-8 lakhs and the highest package offered is around 19-20 lakhs. Most 85 percent of students got placement. To get a good placement, one should develop their skills. Good communication is also required for a good placement. One should master themselves according to the company's requirements. If someone wants then they can go with this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fees of every campus are different. The main building has the highest fees of all, followed by science and then excellence. Here the most expensive course is engineering where the fee of the computer science branch is 1,50,000 around the main campus My branch is cse- aiml in the main building it's fee is around 1,22,000. One who cannot access the main campus fees can get admission to excellence. One can also pay their fees by hiring a loan facility. Here tfw seats are also provided only for the MP students. The one impressive thing about college is that it provides scholarship opportunities to the students. Scholarships are forms only filled in the first year. So students must take care of it. Students cannot access scholarships in second year they can just renew them. College informs students about all the scholarships and helps them to fill them correctly. There is also a separate scholarship department for the students.
Campus Life :
The campus of LNCT is beautifully constructed. However, the impressive thing is that the campus is pretty quiet and calm. a fest had been conducted in April 2023 where Gajendra Verma was invited as our celebrity. The library of the college is properly maintained one can go there and have a quiet study. It is a very calm and comfortable student for the students. Every student has their own library card by which they can access books. The library holds a lot of books like magazines, journals etc. Here curricular activities are conducted but should need to be increased a little bit.
