Remarks :

To get admission to the prestigious college of India which is IIT, one must have to crack JEE Mains first and then JEE Advance. For generals, the cutoffs are pretty much high. I'm general to having a chemical branch. There is a reservation for female candidates too. I just want to remove this reservation as all are now equal almost.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had a great interest in chemistry and maths from the start. There's one faculty for every 30 students. Professors are post-graduates and have a good level of knowledge. There are exams almost weekly quiz and vivas weekly. Mid-sem is every 2 months and the semester exam is every 4 months. The level of difficulty is next level. But the only problem is the course is outdated.

Class Size : 600Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are a lot of scholarships one can avail of. SC and ST candidates even don't need to pay any fees. The candidates whose annual family income is more than 5 lakh have to pay the full fee of 1 lakh. Those who have between 1 to 5 lakhs have to pay 30% of the fee and those having less than 1 lakh annual income also don't need to pay any fee.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of things to explore and peep into. There are many sports clubs such as badminton squash swimming etc etc. Many clubs - Dance, music, coding, hindisamiti, robotics, literacy, etc. But the problem is it's very difficult to manage other activities along with your studies at IITD particularly. The provision of basic amenities is very nice. Fully air-conditioned classrooms, Well-equipped libraries and sports complexes, clean bathrooms, provision of water coolers in every 1km nearly and canteens and all.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels in IITs are just okay. As for now, we have to adjust two people in a room of one. We have laundry facilities and washing machines too for those who want to clean their clothes by themselves only. we have night mess and mess and canteens facility. A visitor room for people who visit students to sit in. Some common rooms are air-conditioned. Sports and gym facilities. Medical- facilities. Mess food is also pretty good as per my expectations.

Hostel Fee : INR 27000 per year
