Remarks :

I got admission through the exam JEE MAINS in which I appeared. The eligibility is the student must be appearing in the 12th or might have passed the 12th one year before the exam is computer-based so practice on that basis only there might be also some problems with the desktop so only check it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am currently pursuing mechanical engineering and the course I found is a little tough though I adopted this as I wanted to pursue government jobs and my interest brought me to this. The faculty here is not like everyone is good but yeah some are good and honest with their duty some are just completing the syllabus somehow. Exams are moderate you can perform well if you start from day one.

Class Size : 159Course Fees : INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities are a little less. Mainly there is tech internship and branches like CSE and EE have opportunities lower branches maybe few students get opportunities so it is not quite good here. the core internship is small.

Placement Experience :

The placements are good. Tech-related placements are good but the core related are a little low and some also go for consultancy. The percentage of students getting placed is nearly 80 percent. it is quite good. My plans are to go for government jobs as I get influenced by it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee here includes a tuition fee of Rs 62000 and a mess fee of Rs 25000 . There are some benefits also available like the one whose income is less than 1 lakhs his tuition fee is completely off and the one whose income is between 1 to 5 laks his tuition fee is 2/3rd off. The are many scholarships available you need to check them.

Campus Life :

Life here is good only the annual fest is not so interesting but yeah good. Tech Fest is also good. The infrastructure is okay. All the available books are in the library. library is good. the social group is good and cooperative.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is good the facilities are also good . the staff guards and other helpers are cooperative and good. meal quality is good not all good it tastes good but hygienic it is good. the registration process is simple just go to the warden ask for them and pay the desired amount and you will be allotted a room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
