Remarks :
The admission process was very smooth. I took jee main examination in which I got a good rank. I chose MANIT, BHOPAL. And chemical branch. The application process was good. I belong to the gen. category. cut off was high. The admission process was fine. There is no need to change it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the B.tech course because I want to become a good chemical engineer. The ratio of faculty and student ratio is fine. number of students is 80. For that, number of faculties is fine. Qualification of faculty is good. the way of teaching of teachers is also very good. There are three exams in one semester. mini, mid, end term. we have exams in a 1 - 1.5 month gap. exams have a little bit of difficulty. because there are many concepts in depth. but I can do hard work every day. so that I can pass the exam easily.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies' name for an internship is Reliance, GS, etc. The internship opportunity is very low in the chemical branch. there is a minor project in 3rd year under any one professor that I will choose and a major project in 4th year.
Placement Experience :
Previous placement was good but due to the recession time, there are few companies for placements. in 7th sem, students become eligible for campus placements. The higher package of cis 1ollege is 8 lac and the average package is 7.2 lac. percentage of students getting placements is 70-80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work at PSU as a chemical engineering.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is good. I filled the many scholarships but I did not get any scholarships. I am in 3rd year. I did not get any job till now. I did not get any internship till now. I belong to the gen category. so, I am not eligible for many scholarships. there is no financial assistant.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. but there is no vehicle to go to college from the hostel and vice versa. there is an annual fest in MANIT. like techno search, a gigabit library is good. Amenities in classrooms are a little bit good. there is a sports complex in our college. there is many sports competition. clubs are better. like Ecell, anak, roobaroo.
Hostel Facilities :
The room is good. and have good facilities. there is a LANE connection for the internet. but sometimes it doesn't work. but it is working properly right now. food is very bad. The registration process for the hostel is fine. The affordability of the hostel fees and mess fees every semester is to be typical. I am a hosteller.
