Remarks :
Yes offcourse it is a NIT college so there was a entrance exam for the admission in Maulana Azad National institute of Technology Bhopal we have cracked JEE Mains for getting into this college. We have to go through the Jossa councilling and the cut off for Chemical engineering is 25-35k for general student and 35-45k for obc students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As Chemical engineering branch is rare and it is not present in every college even it is not present in all IITs and NITs so i choose it because it is a less compatable field to get into a goverment sector Faculty to student ratio is good at a time one faculty teach to a class of only 70 students and it is easy to teach only 70 students at a time in a class, Teachers are well qualified mostly are from IITs and well known institutes and their way of teaching is also good and other than academics they are supportive in other fields also. Exams are being conducted at a regular intervals after the starting of a semester firstly there is a mini test just after a month of starting then Mid exam and End exam is being conducted.
Internships Opportunities :
Comapnies use to come for internship from 5th semester onwards they provide two month internship and also provides PPO preplacement offer if candidates perform well. The job roles are different according to companies some came for Analysts and some companies provides the role of software developers and some provides the role of technical executives. Companies come for both IT internships nad Core branch internships.
Placement Experience :
From 5th semester onwards companies comes for summer internship of two months and after that they may provide PPO preplacement offer if you have worked well there. And from 7th semester companies come for a placement offers and most of the people got placed with an average package of 9 lac per annum salary. Comapnies like Vedanta, Reliance, Aarti industries, ExxonMobil comes for placements and some PSUs also visit for placement like BPCL and HPCL. if student is not getting placed iin oncampus derive then they can apply for offcampus and used to get placed last year 83.7% students got placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is not that much high that is usually seen in any private institutes, college fees depends on the family income of a student if his there are three criteria of student family income - 1. Less than 1 lac 2. In between 1-5 lac or 3. More than 5 lac and the college provides scholarship on the basis of your income certificate any student could easily avails the benifits of scholarship if He/She have a Income certificate proof . There is not any campus job available at this movement in our college.
Campus Life :
In our college two annuals fests are conducted - Technosearch and Maffick. These are the crown for the campus life at MANIT Bhopal. Technosearch is our technical festival it is a platform for budding engineers and innovators to showcase their talent. Maffick is our cultural festival, is a week of non stop entertainment. There are wide range of societies and clubs conducted by students like coding, robotics, technical, enterpreneurship, literature and quizzing, Library is also present in our college so we get t0he access of it also. For sports facility we have a sports complex there are well maintained cricket and football grounds also.
Hostel Facilities :
Facilities provided in our room is good we get a single, double or triple occupancy rooms conditions apply. Electricity, water and internet facilities are also provided. Meal menu depends on the students because student mess commitee decides the menu and quality is satisfactory we can change the mess workers also if they would not work properly because as mentioned mess is totally operated by students. Registration process is easy we just need to fill a form with the room partner you wanted to live with it cost 3-4k per month for hostel.
