honest review of this college

Remarks :

To be eligible to be admission to B.Tech computer science and engineering in MNNIT you should clear jee main entrance exam with a very good rank ( around 4500 rank for other state general students). Application form dates for the JEE mains exam can be tracked from the JOSAA website. you must fill out the form and follow all the guidelines of JOSAA to be eligible for the entrance exam and if you get a very good rank then you will be eligible for this b.tech computer science and engineering program. candidates who are SC/ST are not required to submit tution fees for this course which is 1.25 lakh per year( two semesters). candidates whose total family income is less than one lakh are also not required to submit the tuition fee. Candidates whose total family income is in the range of 1 to 5 lakh per annum are required to submit 1/3rd of the total tution fee of the course. In my opinion, they should improve the online part of the admission process, and college should eliminate their old-school style of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course totally on the basis of placements, otherwise, the infrastructure of the classrooms and the teaching style of faculty members are very bad, they dont even care about the learning of students at all. My section is of 100 students and only one faculty member teaches us at a time. The faculties are well qualified but I dont know why they just dont care about teaching much. The mid-sem and end-sem papers are not that tough to pass anyone can ace them with a normal study.

Internships Opportunities :

There are a lot of internship opportunities available in this college, around 40% of students get internship opportunities during their third year of course. The companies that offer internships are also very good like Microsoft, Google, Morgan Stanley, etc. The average stipend for an internship is around 80k.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for the placements after the sixth semester of the course ( mostly in the fourth year, and placements at this college are very good. very big tech companies visit this college like Adobee, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Atlassian, etc. highest package last year was around 82 lakhs per annum (CTC), and the average package is around 28 lakhs per annum. very good number of students gets placed from here every year ( around 92% - 95 of total students). like most of the students, I also want to get a very good tech job after the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of this institute is like any other government NIT college. There are many opportunities for scholarships in this college for financially weak students. college from itself provides some financial support based on the results of your mid-sem and end-sem exams.

Campus Life :

the college organizes many events yearly like AVISHKAR which is a tech event ( coding, robotics, etc.), culrav which is a cultural fest of this college, and many other small events also get organized in the college. Mostly course-related books are available in the library of the college but the number of books is not many. Some classrooms are much smaller according to the strength of the students. The institute has its athletics club and many sports opportunities are available also. coding club of this institute is mostly run by students for the students. they organise various competitions and events also yearly.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good, the college provides rooms of 3 accommodation for 4 students in the first year and a single accommodation room for two students in the second year after that every student gets a separate room (I am talking about boys hostel only). Registration for hostels starts during the admission time only.

Placement Experience:

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
