MNNIT ALLAHABAD - The complete tech package

Remarks :

Admission to MNNIT is granted through the JEE-MAINS examination which is conducted every year during March and April. To be eligible for the college you need to clear the examination with a high percentile of 99.5 from the general category, however, reservation quotas are also applicable and thus it further reduces the clearing percentile. Application forms and released once the student applies for the exam on the NTA website 1 month before the examination. Reservation quotas often fetch you lower fees for a year. The admission process is in two phases: the first is online done by JOSAA and the second is physical verification done at the college itself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course keeping in mind the security of placement and guarantee of high package since the median package is quite high, Student ratio is not that high since there aren't many girls in the college. Faculty supports you by providing your efficient guidance and exams are conducted 4 times a year, two are mid-semester exams and two are end-semester exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships generally start coming by the start of the third year and give high opportunities to the students. The best stipend offered by good companies is at least 1Lakh per month. Usually, one or two projects are required during the time of placement presenting your skill set.

Placement Experience :

The college placement here ranges from 99-100 percent in every branch, for CSE the highest package is 1.35CR international, and 83Lakh domestic, the average package for CSE is 28Lakh, for electrical 21Lakh, ECE 25Lakh, and the median of every branch falls to 18Lakh. The highest paying companies are DEShaw, Atlassian, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the course are not much, even a student from general has to pay 130000 per year, which is much less than any private engineering college. Scholarships are mainly government scholarships in the college.

Campus Life :

Our college's annual fest is named "CULRAV" which is conducted once every year most probably in June, and our techfest is named "AVISHKAR" which is conducted in September. Our college includes various clubs like ROBOTICS, CODING, ROTARACT, etc. which gives students various opportunities to explore. Libraries are quite peaceful and the best place for self-study, availing of books is easy and they can be issued for some time, also delay in returning the book cost just 1rs for the day.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are quite hygienic with the availability of 24/7 free internet and a good speed, washroom is hygienic as well, the mess is great, the food quality is not at all compromised, Registration is same as college registration so it isn't a very hectic task. The locality of my hostel is also good.

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
