Remarks :
There is no eligibility there if you have passed in your state board and you are wealthy. You can opt for a management course by giving additional lakhs than your regular college fees. The application form is available on the Rec college website or you can avail it from the college campus or main office.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it is comparatively better than other college courses in Chennai. There were nearly 25 staff in the biomedical engineering department. The ratio will be 1:12. The maximum number of staff are PhD holders. For a semester there will be 3 CAT exams and revision test and a final semester exam. It will be very easy to pass if you are regularly attending the class.
Internships Opportunities :
Zifo offered a package of 4.5 lakhs per annum with a stipend of 15 thousand per month for 6 months of training periods. CTS offered a package of 4lak per annum. With a stipend of 13k per month for a 3-month training period.
Placement Experience :
The students are Eligible for the placements from semester 6. TCS, CTS, mind tree, Amazon, HCl, Zoho, Zifo and many more companies visited in Rec campus, The highest package offered by Zoho is 7.5laks per annum. More than 96 percent of students are placed in Rec. I got placed in a company waiting for their onboard recruitment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees will remain the same throughout the academic year. For management it takes 1.65 lakh per annum for counseling students the fees will be 1.35 lakh per annum. There will be no financial aid on the campus, and some of the government scholarships were considered.
Campus Life :
There will be numerous fest is conducted in each and every department. There will be no scarcity for the fest. Everything is available in the College Library. The classroom is quite nice. The college has updated a maximum number of classrooms with smart board facilities. They will encourage every student who participates in sports. The students from rec have made quite the achievement every year. Rotaract, NSS, Leo , YRC and so many clubs are run by the students.
