Remarks :

-> You have to secure a rank between 7000-12500 to get the IT branch in NIT kurukshetra as of now. The above rank is for general candidates. -> Just give the jee mains exams and participate in jossa counselling for the admission

Course Curriculum Overview :

-> I choose IT branch because i was intrested in learnig programming and all -> In most of the cases a class consists of 80 students however 4 subsections are divided with in that class for labs and practicals but for yheory classes 80:1 is student faculty ratio -> Each faculty is well qualified and do possess a good teaching skill -> but the classrooms of college are not up to date . Things like programming and all is very difficult to understand on a black board. The classrooms of this college have a very large scope of inprovement. Classroooms are not as you expect from a one of the top NIT. They could have been lot better -> Exams are not difficult one can easily pass them if they study with discipline

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 74500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

According to the college new rules students can apply for on campus internships in 4th year which is introduced recently but the old rule should be restored where student can apply for on campus internships in 3rd year.when all the NIT's and IIT'S and DTU and NSUT give opportunity to apply for the internship in 3rd year , the same policy should be restored here and they should be adopt some good policies from IIT's

Placement Experience :

-> Placements Stastics are good enough especially for the CSE,IT AND ECE .The average package of IT AND CSE is 20 lacs and median package is also quite good around 20 lacs -> Around 700 offers were made last time and placement rate overall was 76%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

-> Cost of study varies for diffrent income groups and one can surely afford it according to his/her income group -> Currently I am not in 4th year so i have not applied for placements but placements statistics looks good for my branch (IT)

Campus Life :

-> the name of the annual fest is Confluence and tech fest name is TechSpardha -> all most all type of books related to academics are available in library -> All the classrooms are air conditioned but classes are not that up to date like you expect from a NIT. Do not expect classrooms or buildings like IIT's or top NIT's here ->Sports ground is good and big enough to play all kind of sports

Hostel Facilities :

-> As I told you this NIT is very old so it's Hostels. the rooms of many hostels are not that good.There is a large scope of Improvement in the hostel rooms . the Institution needs to spend some good amount for the hostels -> the Mess food is also just above average -> However the Hostel fees is very affordable

The IIIT Review

Placement Experience:

4th year students according to me become eligible for college placements. IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023 recorded 78.79% placements. Out of 99 eligible students, 78 students were placed with 117 offers. IIIT Sonepat highest package increased by about 3% to INR 52 LPA whereas IIIT Sonepat's average package increased by 18% to INR 16.51 LPA. Recruiters like Amazon, Jio, Woovly, Deloitte, Juspay, Yamaha etc participated in IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023. I plan To Do an M.Tech from IIT through the GATE exam.

My life at DCRUST

Placement Experience:

I' m from a civil branch so obviously placement opportunities but a student still manages to get placement in companies like TCS on the basis of coding culture. CSE and ECE students need to just cross 7-8 CGPA for sitting in placement cells and based on their interviews their packages depend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curricula are based on providing technical skills as well as fundamental theories. All faculty members are very good and provide good education to students but some are like okay, because they do not take their classes regularly. I chose this course because I am interested in the technical part as well as the software part of machines. The student-teacher ratio of all the courses in this college is like 1 teacher for 60 students. Most faculty members have master in their degrees and the teaching methods of some teachers are very good but some are very bad.
