Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite good it has 6 subjects theoretical and 4 practicals in my branch and faculty members are friendly and treat you like their family. I chose this branch of Mechanical Engineering because I have quite an interest in Automation, Robotics, and Design. The faculty and Student ratio is 40:1. Faculties are quite Educated and the selection process of faculties is quite difficult they have to Qualify Exam and Interview. Professor's teaching methods are different for each faculty member to an individual student but they are quite reassuring that you get all the knowledge and you can contact them at any time unless it's their Sleeping time. Exams are in semester type, every 6 months, and 2 class tests are also taken by the Examination Board if any student leaves any of the class tests he or she can also have an opportunity for the third class test by submitting an application and giving a decent reason or medical certificate.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are here with companies like Tata, Mahindra, TCL and Off Campus placements are also quite good and provide more package from College placements average college placement is around 10 to 12 lakh per annum some of the students get 40 lac per annum even some get more than 1 crore package but many of them prepare for GATE examination and UPSC examination.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees for B.Tech is 58,850 per annum hostel fees is 10,000 and Ms fees are 20000 per semester Overall yearly fees is 1,10,000 per annum and the Scholarship we got this year is 64,400. You can pay later your fees by submitting an application to pay when you get a scholarship. UP Government scholarship is provided through college.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is quite good and friendly, everyone is a social animal here, a good place for extroverted people, and for introverted people there are labs and indoor games where they can spend hours and hours. There are many clubs like the Mechanical Engineering Forum, Cultural Club, Literary Club, etc. One NGO run by students to teach kids around the college for free of cost, is named as KOSHISH.
