Remarks :

In order to get admission, I have to give the JEE mains examination as an entrance exam. Eligibility was about the 80 percentile approx I don't remember exactly. Application form was available at the jee main's site.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am from the Electronics branch and it is a core subject and subject is considered to be more difficult than other branch and the faculty is also strict to check the exam papers. But the some faculty members are very good in nature and supportive. I chose this course because I have to take a Gate examination. Qualification of faculty is a bachelor's degree with the best grades and then a master's degree with the same discipline. Gate examination is much tougher. But with discipline and hard work, the exam could be passed.

Class Size : 71Course Fees : INR 67800 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of my course is 67800 for one year of B tech and here is the opportunity of scholarship. I am general so it is not 100 % sure to get a scholarship. The central government gives scholarship which helps much more with fees in college because my financial condition is not too good.

Campus Life :

I enjoyed much more in my college there is not much more to explore it's because my college is in a small city. And nothing more to explore. But there is some technical council to learn something good. And the annual fest is also organised month is decided as the more student could get involved. It also has a sports council.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
