Remarks :

Entrance exam- JEE Mains You can apply for JEE directly by going to the official website. Application fees for general male candidates are Rs.1000 while for girls is Rs. 800. For the first attempt registrations begin in December There is a 50% home state quota. And cutoff for SC/ST/OBC is very low as compared to general category students You are allowed the branch and college according to the preference order you have filled during JOSAA and CSAB councelling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All courses of NIT Durgapur are NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accredited. The student-faculty ratio is 12:1 Teachers are highly qualified, and many teachers' names are included in the top 0.5% of scientists in the world. Term exams are held timely according to the yearly academic calendar

Internships Opportunities :

Many big tech giants take part in the on-campus recruitment and they offer both full-time and intern roles to the. Companies come for the roles of software developers, data analysts, and consulting services, and offer many other roles as well. However, the internship opportunities are not that good for the core branches.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are submitted semester-wise, 76300 per semester for the general category having a family income of more than 8 lakhs per annum. Financial help is provided by the college to economically weaker students as they have to pay quite less fees as compared to other students.

Campus Life :

Annual fest- Recstacy (in the month of March) and Tech Fest- Aarohan (in February) All kinds of books course books, novels, and magazines are provided in the library Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and spacious. Sports facilities are good, the campus has 1 big sports ground. This college has many clubs and departmental societies in every field of interest.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Life in Durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the profile came to know that the professor of this college is very good for the mechanical branch the faculty and student ratio is good for the study of the student qualification of the faculty and review teacher is like that they are good in English and they no proper way of teaching the timing of the term of the exam is first exam is midterm in which the question is of 25 marks and we have to give at least 20 marks answer it is conducted after 3 months of the beginning of the course and after the midterm exam there is another in term exam.
