Remarks :
To be eligible to get admission to BTech you should have a decent rank (below 60k) in JEE Main After that you have to fill out an application form from the UPSEE official site and fill in your details correctly. For general candidates, your rank should be below 50k to get admission to the CS/IT branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a BTech CSE student of the 2020-24 batch and if I talk about the faculty ratio it will be roughly 10:1, while the professors are well qualified but all you have to study by yourself and with 1-month of study before exams you can pass exams with more than 85%.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship companies visit very rarely, you have to go to the campus for internships or any other things you want. You have to build 2-3 projects for academic purposes while you can go with more if you want.
Placement Experience :
From the 5th or 6th semester placements get started, For CS/IT students the placement statistics are fine. Some good companies visit campus like BHEL, Optum, Byjus, iitiam etc. offering packages around 10-15LPA. 70% of CS/IT students get placed while other branches have a very good ratio.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a Govt. College fees have been constant for more than a decade. Your whole BTech gets completed in less than 4Lakh as well as approximately 80% of students get UP scholarships and also you get the loan approved easily.
Campus Life :
Annually there are 2 to 3 fests at a big level while tech fests are commenced regularly . There is a library with books 90s era except some but for study purposes, you can sit there with your books and laptop etc. There are many clubs and sports events to enjoy your extracurricular life.
