Remarks :

You have to apply and write the VITEE and entrance exam with a minimum of 75% in 12th boards no reservations of any kind were provided. The entire application process is online with an application fee of 1500 .exams are written offline though in the nearest VIT.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose computer science for my interest in data science and artificial intelligence. The number of students is quite large compared to the faculty there is no shortage though. 90%of the faculty have a doctorate degree teaching is decent, and there is three exam cat 1, cat 2and fat which is the final exam.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience :

Almost all students get placed atleast in cs dept there isn't a lot of core companies you are eligible since 3rd year end especially if you are a 9.0 pointer they are give priority in placements the highest go upto 64l and average is around 7.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost to study depends on which category you get In which again depends on how well you did in vitee and your rank .there is scholarship for state first ,there is lot of hope for internships and jobs are given from 3rd year on.

Campus Life :

There is two annual fest techno vit, vibrance each with tree day period, they are largely organized by students. VIT has a great library and all the books you need are there in the library or provided as pdf by your professors. The classrooms are moderately not air-conditioned there is a projector. There are a lot of existing clubs for dance, hacking, robotics, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are moderate at best and I won't recommend it food is okay but there are monkeys inside the hostel you are not allowed to leave without a huge process even for just an hour. There was a PG tata home but due to recent events it was closed and a rule of vit students not allowed to stay out has been imposed.
