Remarks :

Admission is on the base of jee, you have to score a minimum 50 to 60 percentile in jee to get admission to oist college. The tuition Fee of this college is 96k. Obc and SC St will get scholarships obc will get 29k and SC St will get 1 lakh. Admission is done through online counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm good at computer science that's why I opt this field and every subject is reached by different faculty, the faculty are well educated and except for some faculty they all are good at teaching, after every month we have to give mid sem there and some internal exams, final exams are quite difficult as most of the time the paper comes really unexpected.

Internships Opportunities :

oist provide so many opportunities for internship, many big companies come to college for internship,as I'm right now in 2nd year so I don't know companies' names but my seniors keep telling me about the opportunities they get.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

96k is the tuition fee and 18k is bus fees, bus fees keep changing, there are many scholarships for btech students some of them are Pragati scholarship which is given only to girls and obc and SC St also get a scholarship.

Campus Life :

I would say that oist tech fest is the best, books and journals are available in the library, there are many books in Library, those who are good at sports college also give opportunities to them, there are many groups and clubs in college some them are art group, social group, etc.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.
