Yes, in fact Bachelors is necessary for any Masters course. So in order to get admission in MSc Financial Mathematics, you will have to complete Bachelors in Financial Mathematics first.

Now coming to your question, Honors in Margs is necessary for admission in MSc Financial Mathematics, I don't think so because I have many friends who are pursuing MSc in Financial Mathematics despites graduating from universities that don’t even offer Honors in Maths. I think all you need is a graduation in Maths.

For detailed information look up on the official website of MSU or contact an alumni.

It is necessary to have correct documents before getting admitted to any kind of educational or professional entry everywhere. If you have incorrect spelling in a college certificate then it can cause several problems in the future.

The points below state the necessary steps that you should take immediately.

  • If you have any kind of errors in names or other personal information, report it to the HOD or the college principal quickly. In most cases, they generate an application letter, which is then sent to the university to issue a new certificate with the corrected details.
  • If you are from the same state as that of the University, the process will then take less time as compared to students coming from other states.

It is clear that such a problem must be cleared as soon as possible, as it may hamper the admission of students into any institute in general.
