PDPU or Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is an engineering college in Gandhinagar. The campus size of PDPU is about 100 acres. It is recognized by UGC. • The Chemical engineering department gives students an exposure to corporate internships in established business and industries besides the summer workshops it offers. Out of the 60 students, 10% students receive PPOs through summer internships.
• The Petroleum engineering department provides a rural internship program for first year students. Apart from this, there is an Industry Orientation internship to impart operational capabilities in students. Out of the total 120 students, on an average, 20% students receive PPOs.

Faculty

• Chemical engineering- the department faculty provides a vibrant option for students looking for getting industry ready in future. It includes Faculty members from esteemed institutions like IITs, who share their effervescent experience in terms of knowledge imparted. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30.
• Petroleum engineering- the department’s faculty boasts off to have faculty from IITs and NITs which is well-qualified and earned many recognitions.
