Is XIMB HRM worth the 17 lakh fee? Will the XUB thing have any impact?

One of my friends did his MBA from XIMB, so I know a little bit about the institute. XIMB is situated in the middle of the city of Jaya Devi Vihar. The seats in BM have increased from 240 to 360 recently. The management randomly places 120 students in the new campus which is in the middle of nowhere. 

Below given are some facts about XIMB:

• The campus is almost 20 km from the city and you will not find anything within a 5 km radius. 
• Although there are some small tea vendors and small snack vendors. 
• For things like movies, restaurants one will have to visit the city. 
• Travelling can be expensive and time-consuming if you don’t have your own vehicle.
• You have to travel to the city campus for many discussions and all placement interviews which will leave you exhausted.
• The boys to girl ratio in the HRM batch is about 12:70.
• Students have a lot of freedom and space, no restriction on girls too and the students are accommodated with a single room.
• The degree provided will be under XUB and not XIMB, XUB doesn't have a big brand name however XIMB is still better.
• The average package for HRM is about Rs. 15.42 LPA and this could vary from 12 to 20 LPA, one or two students get the rare package of Rs. 58.22 but it is sheer luck and their past profile.

If you do not have any other college to compare, and the MBA HR is your thing, then go for it, as after XLRI, TISS, IIM Ranchi, XIMB HR is the best potential choice one can have.
