B.Tech Electrical Engineering Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2020)

For B.Tech and IDD electrical, according to 2019 placement records a total of 88 students got placed. Few students didn’t register for placement as they were interested in the GATE exam. Many companies visit the institute for placements with handsome packages. The average package offered is around 11 LPA. Few of the companies that visit the campus for placements are Google, Microsoft, MotorQ, Sandvine, Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instrument, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, etc. There are many other companies. For the 2020 batch, more than 300 companies have visited the institute. But most of them are for software profiles looking for front-end developers, back-end developers, machine learning, web development, software development, etc. There are very few companies looking for core electrical. So even if you are doing electrical engineering you have to make your software profile strong to get placed in top tier companies. Make your CV strong, do courses, and develop skills, you will easily get placed.
