IIT Bhubaneswar Placements statistics 2022 have been, like each year, very promising.

The placement figures for the Civil branch are a bit low in comparison to the other branches. IIT Bhubaneswar placement process for 2023 will continue till 31st July 2023. However, IIT Bhubaneswar has released its placement data for 2023 for all branches.

Here are the key details on IIT Bhubaneswar 2023 placement:

UG placement percentage is over 82% to date. A total of 298 students from B.Tech have received offers
The highest domestic CTC offered in the B.Tech stream is 55.75 LPA
M.Tech placement percentage is over 84% to date
The average package for B.Tech is 17.68 LPA and for M.Tech, it is 12.36 LPA
PSUs like BHEL, C-DOT, C-DAC, GAIL& NTPC (off-campus) were a part of the 2023 placements
MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, D.E. Shaw, Oracle, Ceremorphic, Media.Net, NIUM, JLR, Analog device, Zomato, Mathworks, Caterpillar, TATA Steel R&T, among others were the companies that took part in the 2023 Placements
3rd-year students got internship offers from well-established industries. The majority of students from the CS and Circuital branches engaged in internships have the possibility of getting full-time job offers.

IIT Bhubaneswar though being one of the new IITs has constantly been on a rise in terms of the placement.The better NIRF rankings each year is proof of the same. The exponential rise in the average placement of the college is expected to rise further in the next 2-3 years.

In 2020, a total of 160 students from the undergraduate level got placed. The undergraduate placement rate is 89% and the placement will continue till November due to the Covid-19 breakout. The highest domestic package offered was 43.3 lakhs per annum. While the average placement package offered was 15.8 LPA. Compared to the previous year it is observed that there had been a 34% increase in the average package. The M.Tech placement rate this year is around 65%. The placement trends of this year reveal 51% of students got placement in the core engineering field. Students also got placement in the analytics sector (8%), IT sector (32%), and consulting (9%).

The top recruiters for the season include the top product-based companies like Amazon, Adobe, Oracle, Mathworks, etc. The trend clearly promises these stats to get better and the average package will increase.
