With respect to Computer Science programs and related fields, students from Waterloo, McGill, UToronto and Carleton take the cake. Outside Canada, you're most likely to meet these graduates in your work experience as compared to Calgary. On the other hand, CS at Carleton is a word-class leader in Object Oriented theory and attracts students and faculty from all over the world. Their co-op program offers many well-paid internships in a number of tech companies across Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and more. It has excellent facilities with a number of streams to go for. It also offers a great program in Computer Engineering that focuses on hardware architecture and design. Lastly, it is situated in a beautiful area of Montreal and is bilingual.
