Which engineering college is better, DTU or Thapar University?

DTU is definitely the better option. It is a tier - 1 technological institute in India and offers great resources and facilities to engineering students.
DTU cutoff is comparably higher than Thapar University. You need to score at least above 92 percentile to get a shortlist at DTU.
The institute offers good placement opportunities. According to the DTU placement record for 2022, the average CTC offered was INR 13.24 LPA.

Engineering from both universities is a good option but choice rests on the branch that you opt for. A good branch with a great scope can give a better future even it is from a not so reputed university. So, the core branch should be opted always, as there are certain branches that don’t guarantee full scope even they are backed up with a good reputation.
