Is there any possibility that I can be selected for the NITIE with my qualifying marks in the GATE?

There are basically 2 steps for getting admission at NITIE. 

First, you need to clear the GATE cut-off in order to get a call for the GD-PI round. The GATE cutoff depends on the GATE score and not the marks. The required GATE cutoff varies each year depending on the application pool. However, the cutoff stays generally around 650-700. Here is the GATE cutoff for 2021.

Second, after you've received a call you will have to ace GD and PI.

So, if you want to get into any of the postgraduate PGDIE/PGDMM/PGDPM programs, you must build a very strong profile.
