PGDIE Industrial Engineering, National Institute of Industrial Engineering

NITIE Mumbai GATE cutoff stays around 650. For 2021 the required GATE cutoff was 609 (for general category).

A score of around 750 is considered good for getting an interview call from the institute. However, converting the call into admission is a different story altogether. For final selection, the institute also considers past academics, work experience, and performance in GD-PI.

The admissions in the PGDIE, PGDMM, and PDPM courses are based on GATE scores. The GATE cut-off usually differs every year. The cutoff is further divided by the category.

Here is the GATE cutoff trend for NITIE for the year 2021.

Category GATE score
General 609
OBC 473
SC 345
ST 317
PwD 473

The Group discussion and Personal Interview are also the crucial stages of the final selection in NITIE.

A GATE score of 700 and above for engineering students with a decent academic record in standard 10th and 12th and graduation should get a call from NITIE for further rounds of GD and PI.
