How do I pass THE RGPV civil engineering exam because I am studying hard also and writing all things in the exam then also I am not passing?

One of my brother’s friends also faced a similar issue. He was a student of CSE and wrote exams more than 3 times and still failed in all subjects. He tried coordinating with the authorities but in vain. He had to finally give up engineering and move on to another field. He even tried taking some legal actions but it bore no results.

RGPV is an old university with experienced and old staff. They don’t pay much heed to the complaints.

There are two things you can do at this point. Either fight them with all your might. Remember you will have to invest time, effort and a lot of energy in this. Or you can move on and do something better and more important in life. My acquaintance decided the latter as he thought he might waste his entire youth fighting with them. I will suggest you take up a different field and excel in it.

Will I have to attend regular classes if I have a back subject in engineering last semester in RGPV or could I just take the exams next time?

You don’t have to necessarily attend classes for back paper. You can easily give exams of backlog papers without attending classes.

With the new semester, your focus will be on it. It will be difficult to attend classes for both regular and backlog.

The best option is self-study. If it’s a numerical paper, practice a lot regularly. You may take help from faculty, your seniors or even your batchmate who is good in that particular subject. This will not be difficult in RGPV. A bonus tip is to solve previous year's papers. This will save you time and give you a better picture of your exam.

Clear your back exams in time or you will face problems at the time of placement.

What's the point of teaching Engineering Drawing to first year CSE students (RGPV)?

Teaching Engineering Drawing to first year CSE students tends to give them a basic understanding of design, different views(top, front, side, sectional), Projection(1st or 3rd), standards & formats.

ED may be useful in the following cases:

  • Designing/drawing computer components and games

  • Developing new software for mech & civil.

Srinivasa Ramanujan (Indian Mathematician) passed Mathematics but failed in languages because of a lack of interest in languages. This means that if you have decided to go in a specific field, you will have to study all subjects in order to pass the exams in college.

Similarly in CSE, you will find courses of not much value once you start working somewhere.

The higher you will climb the ladder of studies, the clearer you will become in which field to choose.

So CSE will be helpful if you switch to CAD or CAM in future. In addition, it helps to develop perception of objects.
