Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It is approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade, and is one of the 15 institutes that receive funds from the World Bank under TEQIP. The institute has been ranked at the 163rd position by NIRF in its engineering college ranking. Moreover, it has signed MoU with various industries.

Admission Procedure: The department offers BE and MTech courses.

Ambedkar Institute of Technology and Global Academy are reputed colleges of Bangalore. NIRF 2020 has ranked the Ambedkar Institute of Technology at 251 for BTech. Whereas, the Global Academy of Technology has NAAC accreditation (‘A’ grade).

Admission:For BE in Information Science & Technology atAmbedkar Institute of technology and for CSE at Global Academy the admission is through COMEDK UGET or KCET. The required eligibility is 10+2 from a recognized board.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar institute of technology, Bangalore, the college is AICTE recognized and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). It is a private college and the institute has 14 research centers, 10 undergraduate programs, and 11 postgraduate programs. The college is UGC and NAAC approved.

Initially, when the college started it only had three courses i.e. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering course, CSE is one of the oldest courses in this college. The faculty and the department are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.

Admission:

  • The candidate should have passed class 12th with at least 45% of marks with any recognized board.

  • The candidate should also appear for the KCET Examination or COMEDK UGET in order to seek admission for BE CSE. In 2019 the required cutoff for CSE was 6953(KCET), and 26777(COMEDK UGET).
