How is the Placement Scenario at IIT BHU?

Placement of any institute mostly depends on the alumni base. IIT BHU is an old IIT with a huge alumni base. In fact, IIT(BHU) has the largest alumni association in the country. So you don’t need to worry about the placements. A lot of companies come to the campus, and the statistics are astounding. The Training and Placement Cell of the college is also very active. According to 2019 placement highlights, over 33 companies offered 188 job positions on the inaugural day of the recruitment drive. And the Final Placement Report of 2019 revels, a total of 52 companies and firms visited the institute to recruit students. 762 students got employed during the placement drive with an average salary package ranging from INR. 10 LPA to INR. 58.21 LPA. Whereas the highest domestic and international package offered was INR 1.04 Crore and INR. 1.53 Crore respectively. Major recruiters of IIT BHU, Varanasi include EXL, Wipro, Tata Steels, Oracle, Morgan Stanley, and Maruti.
