How are the hostel facilities for M.Tech students in VNIT Nagpur?

As a girl hosteller, I can shed some light on the hostel facilities for M.Tech girls at VNIT Nagpur.

Girl students get a single room from the first year of M.Tech itself. The girls’ hostels are clean, but the rules and regulations are strict. One such rule is the hostel curfew timing which changes each year. It won’t be more than 10pm in any case.

Overall, the hostel facilities are good at VNIT. 

The hostel facilities are decent for M.Tech students, especially in comparison to B.Tech students. 

M.Tech boys and girls get single seater rooms, right from the first year. The first year girls share their hostel with B.Techs. They dine in the adjacent hostel allotted to second year M.Techs. The hostel for second year M.Tech girls is in a dilapidated condition, and needs improvement. The curfew timing is 10 pm. The hostel rules are relaxed for M.Tech students, and other facilities are also decently good. 

It takes a while to adjust to hostel life. But soon one develops a deep attachment to the place and people around us.
