Here are some preparation tips that you may find helpful.

  • Divide all topics into strong, weak, and intermediate sections and allocate time accordingly.
  • Keep 1-2 hours aside daily for revising formula and notes.
  • Take two or three full-length tests each week.
  • Practice previous year's questions topic-wise.

Different students have different strategies, try to make a preparation plan that works for you.

You should make your own strategy for JEE Main preparation. Here are some of the general tips that can help you score better.

  • JEE Main questions are not that difficult. You can easily apply your concepts and get answers.
  • Try to cover all topics. At least have a rough idea about them. You won’t know which topic will weigh more.
  • Learn the formulas and practice. At least 40% of the questions come directly from formulas.
  • Create a strategy that works for you for answering questions in the examination. Start with the section you are most confident in.
  • Don’t waste much time on the questions that can be solved easily without any calculation.
  • Increase your speed.

Also, be thorough with NCERT books. Direct questions are asked from these books.
