MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences

Yes, it’s possible to clear AIIMS Delhi with only one year of preparation. Usually, students take 2 years to prepare but there are many who have done it in one. If you put in the required effort, it’s possible.

You should adopt a target-based preparation strategy. Take a chapter and keep on giving tests until you score at least 90% in it. Once done, move on to the next chapter. Make daily, weekly, and monthly preparation plans.

Well, it's not easy to anticipate, as it mainly depends on the candidate's potential. Time taken by each individual varies. It is known that AIIMS Delhi is one of the top-ranked medical colleges in India and also the 65 rank holder in all over Asia. It would not be easy to get admitted to one of India's prestigious colleges.

  • It has a total of 37 seats for the general category and 19 seats for the OBC category, 11 for SC, and 5 for ST.
  • In total there are 72 seats with two lakh applicants applying every year.
  • But the AIIMS seat in all India available is only 672 and you can now understand the level of competition for it.

I clearly have no background in medical but my sister dropped a year and now she is in NDMC Delhi paramedical whereas one of my friends had dropped twice and prepared once with Akash Institute and second from Allen and now he is in DMC Bihar.

But you cannot say that it is not possible to crack AIIMS Delhi in one drop year or you can even make it through without the Drop. Just know that if you have talent and you are actually willing to give the best then you can crack it without a single drop.

Your concepts of classes 11 and 12 had to be very sharp, clear, and good. You have to let go of every distraction and center all your efforts towards cracking AIIMS and not just it but any medical college in India because nowadays the competition level for medical is at its peak and is one of the toughest exams in India.

It would be advised that if you can make it through it's good and even if you can't in one single year that is fine as a medical aspirant gets 7 chances in AIIMS.
