Which is better in terms of placements for m.tech cs, bits pilani, IIITH or ISI kolkata?

To answer your question depends on your area of interest. Each of the institutions that you have mentioned has their advantages. ISI Kolkata is known for providing the best opportunities to students who aim to pursue Data Science. It also has the best MTech CS for students who aspire to be Data Scientists. But if you aspire to be a developer, then ISI Kolata is not your best choice. BITS Pilani will provide you with the right curriculum to become a developer. Our college is known for providing a better scope when it comes to software development. You can also do some research if you still have some queries. There are many seniors and the alumni association is also very effective in these colleges. You can talk with them to clear out your doubts.

The answer to this question is based on your goals and ambitions.

ISI Kolkata offers plenty of scope in the field of Data Science. In fact, it has the best MTech CS for aspiring Data Scientists. But for Developer roles, ISI Kolkata MTech CS is a weak option in front of IIIT Hyderabad and BITS Pilani MTech CS. Both these colleges offer similar and better scope in software development profile.

I would recommend you approach some seniors from all these colleges to give you a better understanding of the present scenario.

After reading some reviews online, I can say that, if you want to be a data scientist, ISI Kolkata would be a good choice. In fact, it is said to be the top college for aspiring data scientists. This would definitely open up a lot of opportunities.

However, if you want to be a developer, the ISI M.Tech CS program falls short of IIIT-H and BITS Pilani CSE. I believe IIIT-H and BITS Pilani offers similar opportunities for software developer positions.
