Various PSUs, core companies, and software companies visit the campus placements to recruit students through campus placement. According to IIT Bhubaneswar placements, the average CTC received by the M.Tech students is around INR 10.34 LPA. Each year around 88% of students gets placement.

The M.Tech program in Electronics and Communication offered by IIT Bhubaneswar is good. The offers elective options like VLSI Signal Procession. There are a good number of openings in the VLSI industry each year. These jobs pay well too.

IIT Bhubaneswar placement 2022 witnessed an MTech average package of around INR 12 LPA.

IIT Bhubaneswar offers a pretty decent M.Tech program in Electronics and Communication. The total intake of M.tech students of this college is 220 with 18 in Electronics and Communication Engineering stream. The institute provides comprehensive and organized courses on Advanced Analog and Digital Electronics, Advanced Analog and Digital Communication, Microprocessors and Embedded Systems, Signal processing, VLSI design, Control systems, and Radiofrequency and Microwave engineering, etc in the core curriculum for the students along with a new age of electives on AI (Artificial Intelligence), Computer Vision and Advanced communication and System design.

The coursework is effective as the department strikes a balance between the essential theory classes and practical work. The department of Electronics and Communication offers research laboratories equipped with futuristic infrastructure.
