Should I opt for Subharti University Meerut or drop another year? I got 494 marks in the OBC category.

MBBS from Subharti Medical College (2021)

Yes, you can take admission to Subharti University, it is better than other private colleges. One of my friends studied there and mentioned that:

  • The management is good.
  • The faculty is highly experienced, most of them from government medical college pass outs like BHU - Varanasi, Allahabad Medical College, etc.
  • The lectures are also engaging, unlike other private institutions.
  • The campus is 250 acres which is also a plus point.
  • The college is strict when it comes to academics.

Overall, it is good to be a part of this college but if you can get a chance in a government college, definitely go for it, as it will provide you with better opportunities and education at a reasonable cost.

What are my chances of getting into XLRI Jamshedpur if I’m a psychology majors and have scored 10 in CGPA 10th and 94.8% in 12th, and my average SGPA in college is 9.1 out of 10?

RG
Rimjhim Ghosh Posted On : April 18th, 2023
Studied at Xavier School of Management (2019)

You have the same odds as other XLRI applicants. Your psychology major is not a disadvantage. XLRI requires a 3-year bachelor's degree after 12th grade, an entrance exam, and a group discussion/personal interview for all applicants. Academic excellence may boost a candidate's evaluation. XLRI interviews candidates who score over the minimum cutoff in the admission exam (XAT) and do well in the GD round. Different selection criteria are weighted.
