IIT Guwahati alumni have been raising the flag high of the institute by setting up various startups. Some of them have been listed below
Trust me when I say the list goes on!
The most successful and snoring alumni of IIIT Allahabad has to be Harsha Suryanarayana also known as Humblefool. He has many achievements up his sleeve some of which have been mentioned below
Harsha is considered to be the god of the coding world. The world lost him in an accident but he is alive in the hearts of many. He has inspired many and will continue to do so.
One of my friends did his B.Com from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Since he now belongs to the alumni network, here are some of the things he had to share about his college.
As you step out of college and meet the fierce real world, your reputation works only when you work hard enough. Fortunately, being a part of NM, all of his friends were fearless and prepared to face challenges due to the tough regime and discipline they learned. On top of that, the name itself is a matter of pride for NMites any day.
I don’t believe there aren’t any alumni from IIT Guwahati that are as successful as alumni from other IITs. In fact, there are many who have made a strong impact on the socio-economic situation of the nation and have global recognition too
Some of the famous alumni at IIT Guwahati are:
These are just a few examples of the many accomplished individuals who have graduated from IIT Guwahati. It should be noted that this list is not exhaustive and there are many more successful alumni from IIT Guwahati. However, the list is certainly small compared to other IITs. This may be because of its late establishment.
One of my friends is an alumnus of ISB Hyderabad from the class of 2010. Before MBA, he had four years of experience in a law firm and credit rating agency. Academically he had pursued LLB after being a B.Com graduate. His GMAT score was 740.
He was called for an interview at the Taj Land's End Mumbai. There were two interviewers in the panel among whom one was an alumnus of the institute.
Here are few questions asked to him during his admission interview:
Overall, the experience was amazing. It was a cordial discussion with a relaxed atmosphere. He was put at ease throughout unlike what people generally expect.
Many IIM Indore alumni have made it big. Here is a brief list of some of them.
It’s quite difficult to compile a list of famous alumni of IBS Hyderabad mainly because each batch size comprises 900+ students. However, for the most famous ones you can visit IBS Hyderabad’s official website. The website provided data related to the achievements of many IBS Hyderabad alumni and their details also.
XLRI alumni are located all over the world and can be found in a wide range of industries and sectors. Here are some examples of where XLRI alumni are currently working:
In addition to these industries and sectors, XLRI alumni can be found in many other fields, including education, media, government, and more. The XLRI alumni network is a strong and supportive community, and many alumni stay connected to the school and to each other long after graduation.
If you are working in Google or Microsoft or any top tier companies or any company, as a matter of fact, you can conduct coding contests, you can invite the top three performers for internships or motivate them in some way. You can also conduct workshops and help students prepare for placements.
If you doing your Ph.D. in some foreign university, you can guide the students about how to go about research and the trend that is going on in the research field, so that the interested students can focus on the things necessary to achieve the same. You can also help in collaborating with your university with IIT BHU.
Other than that you can always contribute to alumni funds and help in placements and internships. You can also donate books to the library. If you are successful in your field you can hold webinars or seminars and motivate the students. If you have your own startup you can recruit students for your company rather than going for other IITs. This would also increase the placement percentage of the institute. You can also provide internships. You can support talented students belonging to poor families in any way that might help them.
You will experience significant improvements in the facilities at JBIMS compared to before. The difference between the old and new classrooms can be seen with the newly built rooms, which were sponsored by alumni. However, being a part of the University of Mumbai, making major changes to the infrastructure took a lot of time and required permission from various departments.
Campus life at JBIMS has been filled with challenges and tests of your ability. It is not like regular college life and the rigor of B-school life at JBIMS is on par with what you would expect at the IIMs.
