IIITDM Kancheepuram Mechanical is better in comparison. The department has four branches under the norms of Design and Manufacturing. The academics are practical-oriented. IIITDM follows an updated curriculum that is different from the traditional course structure of most engineering colleges. The Mechanical faculties are great.
