The fee structure for the first years of IPM is as follows:

The total estimated payment for the first three years is 3,70,000. With this, a caution deposit of Rs. 50,000 is also required at the time of registration. This sum is refundable.

The fee structure for the 4th and 5th year of IPM (after combining with PGP) is consistent with the fee structure of the PGP Batch at the time. It is currently around 4 lakhs per annum.

I have about 5 friends studying in IIM Indore and they have had good experiences. Here is a brief about IIM according to my friends.

Placements:

• The graduating class of Integrated Programme In Management 2020 witnessed a great placement season. 
• The highest annual salary offered was 56.8 LPA. The average package of the batch remained 23 LPA.
• More than 160 companies visited the campus and the major recruiters included Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Dabur, etc.

Infrastructure:

• The whole campus is wi-fi enabled. All the classrooms are centrally air-conditioned and have state-of-the-art facilities to implement the latest methods of teaching. 
• If you are a sports enthusiast, you won’t be disappointed at all. You get a full-fledged Cricket Stadium, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a steam bath, a sauna, volleyball courts, tennis courts, football courts, etc.
• Coming to other necessary facilities like medical, there is a doctor available on campus at all times.

Faculty: 

• You also get a great faculty at IIM which is highly qualified and experienced. Most of the professors are the pioneers of their respective fields while being equally understanding and helpful.
• No matter how busy they are in research work, they often devote time to students to clear their doubts. The teachers try to incorporate practical teaching to the best of their resources and ability. 
• You will also have enough exposure to the industry through various field trips conducted.

Overall, if you have secured a seat at IIM Indore, brace yourself for a lifetime experience of learning and fun.

The majority of coaching classes often confuse the real purpose and meaning set behind an IPM programme. Surprisingly enough, they mostly treat it as they do to a regular BBA+MBA programme, without actually recognising the difficulty level essentially associated with it. 

• The difficulty level of IPMAT is several steps ahead of a general BBA examination. 
• Coaching centres function by preparing aspirants for the upcoming CAT exam or a general management entrance coaching.
• Rather than seeking advice from coaching centres, you can avail a specialized mentorship. Either from the students of the respective institute who have recently cleared the IPMAT exam, or choose visiting professors from the admission committee. 
• If you think it is not possible, then seek guidance from the alumni network or the current students. 
• Follow the previous year’s papers and understand the pattern of the questions. You can also seek help from the internet. 

Paying a bulky fee to coaching centers can oftentimes prove to be unnecessary. Your self-study, mostly combined with a vivid general knowledge, can suffice the needs of the exam. 

Securing a seat in any IIM is difficult, especially IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Indore, Kozhikode, and Lucknow. A percentile of 99 or 100 is not particularly enough for acquiring seats in the institutes mentioned above. The cut-off, however, differs from one year to another. 

You must have 90% in your 10th and 12th examination, alongside 80% in your graduation. 

However, with scores you have achieved, you still have the opportunity to grab a seat at IIMs that are located at Jammu, Simaur, Sambalpur, Gaya since they are recently established. Apart from that, you still have the open option to choose other B-Schools that are comparably better than the newly established IIMs. 

CAT is the first stage entrance exam for all IIMs and many non-IIM colleges. Following the CAT results, you will be shortlisted for the second round based on a few parameters. These parameters include:

• CAT percentile.
• Academic performance entails your grades in 10th, 12th, and graduation.
• Work Experience - For PGP or 2 Year courses, preference will be given to up to 36 months of experience.

In the second round, any of the following skills will be tested using a combination of Personal Interview-

• GD
• Writing an Essay
• WAT
• Exercise in Groups

Different IIMs select different skills to assess, and this varies from institute to institute. After passing the second round, you will be offered admission based on your overall performance in the first and second rounds, as well as the availability of seats in a specific IIM.

According to one of my friends, who is an alumnus of IIM Indore, books like Pearson’s are not sufficiently good for preparation. Most of them are outdated and follow the old syllabus and the question type that was asked previously during the exams. If you want to crack the entrance exams for IPM, then you need to be consistent while preparing for the exam and thorough with all the concepts. 

You can refer to the basic NCERT books along with Wren and Martin's latest edition for the same. These books can help you immensely to improve your vocabulary.

Be consistent with your preparation, and you should be through. 

Well, this is something that cannot be correctly predicted. No one can tell you the exact number till which the waiting list can get clear. If I can vaguely remember, last year the waiting list moved till 45, I am not sure though.

However, since the program is gaining more and more popularity with time, I am quite sure that this number will descend. If you are on the waiting list, I would suggest you keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best to happen.
