What is the cutoff for IIMC English journalism?

RG
Ravi Gupta Posted On : February 2nd, 2021
Studied at Indian Institute of Mass Communication(2019)

IIMC does not have a fixed cutoff for any courses including English journalism. The required cutoff changes every year. Also, the cutoff list is not available for the students.

IIMC is one of the most reputed media institutes in India. The college administration conducts their own entrance examination, which is really tough to creak. You can apply for admission at IIMC online through their official website.

Being a renowned media institute it has limited seats for the courses that are offered here. To secure admission you have to perform well in the subjective entrance procedure, taken by this college. If you secure the required cutoff only then you will get a call for an interview.

According to the reviews of old students, the cutoff required for admission to English Journalism at the institute in recent years was as follows.

  •  OBC- 35
  • SC/ST- 22
  • General- More than 50 for IIMC New Delhi

From the above discussion, you should have gotten an idea about the cutoff required at IIMC for English Journalism.

No, you can’t take admission at SVNIT, based on GUJCET score. For undergraduate courses, SVNIT admissions are through JEE Main and JoSAA counseling. Being a Central Govt. affiliated institute, the institute takes admission based on national-level examination scores.

GUJCET is a state-level examination. Colleges and state universities of Gujrat take admission through the examination.

What CAT percentile do I need for IIM Indore?

RJ
Rohan Jain Posted On : February 1st, 2024
Studied at Integrated Program in Management, IIM Indore (Graduated 2021)

IIM Indore invites freshers with 97.5+ in CAT. Those with 90+ in 10th, 12th and graduation may receive a call at 97+. Work experience and an impressive educational and professional record may result in a call at 96 percentile. But 96 is the minimum requirement for a GEM (General Engineer Male) to receive a call from IIM Indore. For someone who belongs to a quote of any kind, the minimum requirement may further relax.

But a call from IIM Indore does not mean anything unless you perform well in the WAT and PI rounds. Only after performing well in WAT and PI can you expect to receive admission at the college.

What is the cuttoff for IIM Indore -IPM Aptitude Test?

SJ
Sidhharth Jain Posted On : January 24th, 2023
MBA from Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (Graduated 2019)

Any score over 200 on the IPM Aptitude Test is generally considered to be safe. However, those with a score of roughly 180 are also invited to the PI round. In order to increase your chances of converting calls, you must work to maximize your aptitude test score.

IIM Indore IPM requires sectional IPMAT Cutoffs other than the general IPMAT cutoff. Therefore, it's crucial to perform well in each section.

There will only be 2 subjects in the IIM Indore IPMAT:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal Ability

It is advised that you take both exams. In both exams, the verbal portion is largely the same. The sectional cut-off and overall cut-off are difficult to determine because they depend on a number of variables.
